
Elise Bohus works at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside as a registered nurse in Perianesthesia Services. She is also an athlete in the IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding) professional league competing nationally for 5 years.
Elise began her professional nursing career in the United States Navy Nurse Corps where she served for 6 years at Naval Medical Center Medical Center Portsmouth and Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. She also deployed on the USNS Mercy Hospital ship in support of Pacific Partnership 2016 in Southeast Asia working in the casualty receiving unit. Elise also served as a command fitness leader and AHA-Basic Life Support instructor. She resigned her commission in 2018 and entered the private sector as a registered nurse in the San Diego community.
Elise earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Drexel University in 2012. While at Drexel she participated in Naval ROTC and worked part-time as a nursing assistant.
Elise resides in Vista with her husband and 2 dogs. In her free time she enjoys weightlifting, hiking, traveling, stand-up comedy and exploring new coffee shops and cuisines.
