
Karen joined Accenture in January 2019 as an Executive Support Analyst with a passion for veteran advocacy and extensive experience in building and leading programs dedicated to serving the military community. She is currently the Program and Operations Analyst and also North America Military ERG Communications and Engagement Lead at Accenture, a women veterans mentor, and a persons with disabilities champion. Karen is also a writer and publishes articles on inclusion and diversity topics that reach a national audience.
Before joining Accenture, Karen worked in strategic communications at UC Riverside where she founded the faculty and staff Veterans, Military Members and Families Group, a program she directed for over 7 years. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from the University of Redlands where she was elected a Fellow of the Whitehead Leadership Society by her peers. She has also studied Public Administration at the University of Southern California Sol Price School of Public Policy. Karen is a Fellow of the Southern California Leadership Network’s California Connections program and a member of the California Women Veterans Leadership Council representing the San Diego region.
Karen is a US Air Force veteran who served as a Dietetic Technician in the 1980s. Having experienced struggles with employment and housing as a single-parent transitioning veteran, she believes in the mission of FFWW with her whole heart.
