Lisa has owned and operated Cantalini’s Salerno Beach Restaurant in Playa Del Rey since 1999, and Cantalini’s Express in Mar Vista since 2011, bringing her lifetime dream of preserving her Family Heritage through Traditional Italian Cuisine to fruition.
Lisa has had a wide range of experience working primarily as a Controller with an emphasis on Operations and Business Management for most of her career. She has served the community as a leader for a myriad of non-profit organizations and has a passion for Education, Mental Health and Veterans Affairs.
Lisa is a proud member of the Los Angeles National Cemetery Support Foundation providing direct support for the Annual Memorial Day Celebration and has been a volunteer with numerous organizations including AMVETS Post II in Culver City, the Bob Hope USO at LAX and Naomi House at the West Los Angeles VA.
Her commitments cover a myriad of additional groups and activities. She has worked for decades to help those living with HIV/Aids, to end discrimination and find a cure through her work with APLA, the Human Rights Campaign, the Trevor Project, GLAAD, GLASS, the LAGLC and Being Alive to name a few. She is a former Lay Delegate for MCC in the South Bay, a Founding Member of the MCC Founders Circle and a distinguished member of the Legacy League for the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, whose focus is to teach tolerance and diversity.
