Tiffani K. Patterson

Tiffani K. Patterson is a native San Diegan and a United States Coast Guard veteran who served as a Boatswain’s Mate for nine years. Her accomplishments include being the Coast Guard’s first black female Over the Horizon boat coxswain. After leaving the Coast Guard, she graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s in Business Management and a teaching credential, going on to teach at-risk populations.  She is currently an assistant principal at a middle school in the Inland Empire. Tiffani is looking forward to her role as an Ambassador so that she can bridge the gap for fellow Coast Guard women veterans in joining and thriving in the larger women veteran community.
