Elizabeth A. Okoreeh-Baah graduated from the Naval Academy in 2000 and was one of the first women to graduate with a Marine Corps aviation contract.
After five and a half years of flying the CH-46E Sea Knight, Okoreeh-Baah completed a year-long combat deployment, and then transitioned to the MV-22 Osprey.
In 2006, at 28 years old, she became the first woman to pilot the Osprey and went on to engage in combat operations with the aircraft.
