Summer of Self-Care Session 2 – Asking for Help

Asking for Help: The Self-Care Nobody Talks About
Most conversations about self-care focus on what we do for ourselves alone. This session turns that idea inside out.
Learning to ask for help, to receive support without guilt, and to build a genuine community of care around us is one of the most overlooked—and most transformative—dimensions of taking care of ourselves. This is especially true for women who have spent their lives showing up for others. Yet, many of us have been conditioned to believe that asking for help is a sign of weakness, that we should muscle through on our own.
Join us for Asking for Help with Dr. Shayna Kaufmann, a psychologist and mindfulness teacher. This session challenges the notion of what it means to ask for and receive help and offers practical tools for letting support in.
