Women, especially those who have served, juggle many roles—mother, partner, caregiver, professional—while their own needs, and even their veteran identity, can often take a back seat. Prioritizing growth and leadership development may seem like an afterthought, yet when women connect with others who have shared their experience, the power of self-investment is undeniable.
Last year, our Foundation for Women Warriors 2024 Women Veteran Lead cohort connected virtually, intentionally investing in their personal, professional, and leadership journeys. In October after much anticipation and hours of building new long-distance connections and friendships, the cohort finally came together in person to deepen those connections and gain invaluable insights from Fortune 500 executives.
For three days, the cohort attended different sessions and panels where they received invaluable support, mentorship, and guidance from some of the most inspiring women leaders thanks to our sponsors Heidrick & Struggles and Fortune MPW.
