Women Veterans Lead (WVL) is a four-month hybrid program that consists online and in-person professional development focused on three core areas: personal wellbeing, professional development, and community leadership. Our cohort gathers with leaders in business, trades, and academia to identify and implement strategies to enhance personal wellbeing, expand their social support and networks, and invest in their professional and leadership development.
Additionally, WVL partners with the FORTUNE Most Powerful Women (MPW) Summit Future Leaders Program. This partnership provides a once in a life-time opportunity to receive mentorship with the world’s most prominent business leaders. The WVL cohort will receive insight on network building, exposure to various business industries, and receive invaluable advice on transferring skills learned while on active duty or pivoting to a new career.
Application Process
Please set aside 45-60 minutes to fill out the application so that you may thoughtfully and thoroughly communicate your aspirations for participating in the program.
Please shoot a two-minute video using your webcam or phone. In these two minutes, please include your name, where you currently reside, and your current military status. Please share what you hope to gain from participating in the program? What value or strengths would you add to the cohort?
The deadline is 11:59 PM PT on May 31st, 2024. Select applicants will be asked to participate panel interviews with FFWW staff, WVL cohort alumni and MPW staff. Cohort announcements will be made the week of June 24th, 2024.

The 4-month program will consist of in-person and online sessions. Participants must be available to attend all sessions.

One three-day seminar Orange County, Ca October 14-16th 2024
*In-person for all participants. Travel, accommodations, and meals will be provided.
Participants must be available to attend all sessions.
(Travel dates for out of state participants will be October 13th and 16th.)
Self-identify as a woman
U.S. military veteran from all branches or currently serving in the National Guard or Reserves
Must reside in the United States
Completed one year of military service and discharged with a honorable discharge. Applicants with other charaterization of service can still apply and will be reviewed and considered on a case-by-case basis.
Participants must be available to attend all sessions.

20-25 transitioning active duty and veterans will be selected to participate.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Attire for all sessions will be business.
